Here is a photo of the tarpon I caught on my 1890 SE. If it weren't for the qui-dry hull I would have not been able to get within casting range of this fish with my fly rod. I was sight fishing in 3-4 feet of water off the beaches and these fish were weary of the boat traffic. I managed to find fish in an area away from the other boats and sneak up for a cast. As you can see from the picture we were two miles off shore when the battle was finally finished...an easy ride back in with the 1890.
