Higher performance and improved fuel economy is achieved with the use of smaller outboard motors. We offer more features on the Hybrid Series than on any other lightweight skiff. Fact is, no other builder of shallow draft fishing skiffs has put more research, engineering, testing, or detail into their boats.

For over two decades, Action Craft has been on a relentless pursuit to build the world's finest coastal and inshore fishing machines. As a result, we have established a proven reputation for building the best designed skiffs with the highest quality. The new Hybrids are no exception. Consulting with top professional fishing guides and local customers, we have designed the Hybrids to meet the demands of a technical poling skiff, with the versatility of a full featured flats boat. The Hybrids offer a variety of functional features that work together to provide the best flats fishing platform on the water today:

In 1969, two research scientists created a fiber that combined unmatched strength, lightweight, and flexibility, and could be offered in a variety of forms. The company was DuPont, and the technology was Kevlar. One of the most remarkable man-made organic fibers ever developed, Kevlar is used today in a variety of industrial applications. Kevlar and Carbon Fiber technology requires fewer layers to be equally as strong as fiberglass, yet weighs much less.

In 1982, Action Craft began its' pursuit to build the world's finest coastal and inshore fishing machines. We have established a proven reputation for building the best-designed skiffs with the highest quality. We have pioneered and patented more design features for the industry, and set standards for which others have imitated, but not equaled. In 2001, Action Craft combined the Kevlar/Carbon Fiber and vacuum bagging technology, with the full-featured Action Craft FlyFishers and FlatsMasters, creating the Hybrid Series, a fishing platform with performance, versatility and comfort never before found in a lightweight boat.
